Concert by Re:Orchestra Quartet of Rotterdam in Lapsi church, St Julian’s
John Vassallo and Marianne Noll, residents of St Julian’s, are sponsoring a concert with the Rotterdam Ensemble under the baton of Maestro Roberto Beltran Zavala and with the participation of Maltese mezzosoprano Clare Ghigo, oboist Jennifer Melville and local clarinetist Jessica Ellul.
“A CONCERT FOR FALLEN HEROES”, in commemoration of those who suffered or lost their life for the sake of freedom of expression, will feature music by Schubert, Barber, Puccini, Orff and Mahler.
The concert will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018, at 8pm at the Old Parish Church of St Julian, known as ‘Lapsi Church’ (Lapsi Street, St Julian’s).
