Shlomo Mintz visits Portugal to perform the Concerto for Violin and Orchestra, in D major, op. 61, by Ludwig van Beethoven, accompanied by the Madrid Soloists Chamber Orchestra, conducted by composer and conductor Nuno Côrte-Real.

The concert program also includes Beethoven Symphony n.º 7, in A Major, op. 92, and the “Abertura Secondo Novecento”, by Nuno Côrte-Real.

This concert is part of the Temporada Darcos program, which this year extends to other venues in Lisbon and Porto, highlighting, on the 2nd and 3rd of October, respectively, the performance of Shlomo Mintz in the Aula Magna of the Rectory of the University of Lisbon and in the Sala Suggia of Casa da Música do Porto.
