Shlomo Mintz will play and conduct an all-Bartók program accompanied by the Cameristi della Scala and the Heritage House Folk Ensemble, on a unique date in Italy that opens an international tour that will visit other important European cities such as Paris and London in Season 2021-2022.
Shlomo Mintz will perform some of Bartók Duos (with the Hungarian violinist Istvan Pal Szalonna) and the Rhapsody No. 2; Mintz will also conduct the Romanian Dances, played by Cameristi della Scala.
In the second half, the program will be completed with a beautiful show of ballet and choir, from the Heritage House Folk Ensemble. A burst of Hungarian flavours in homage to Franz Liszt, with music of Bartók, Kodaly and Liszt himself.
