BIOGRAPHY

Recognized as one of Spain’s most distinguished ensembles, the Madrid Soloists Chamber Orchestra (MSCO) brings together outstanding European soloists under the artistic direction of Gábor Szabó. Celebrated for its vibrant expressivity and refined sound, the MSCO has collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as Shlomo Mintz, Julián Rachlin, Leticia Moreno, Wenting Kang, Sebastián Manz, among many others.

The orchestra has performed at landmark venues including Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional de Música, the Teatro Real, and the KBS Concert Hall in Seoul, as well as at major international festivals such as the Úbeda International Festival. In addition, it has toured extensively throughout Spain, Portugal, and South Korea.

Its recording of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, released by the Halidon label, has garnered over 10 million views on YouTube, becoming a global reference. Likewise, its album Mozart — Post Scriptum, recorded with pianist Sergei Kvitko, received critical acclaim from Gramophone Magazine and The Strad Korea, and was honored in the United States for its “elegance and chamber-like balance.”

With forthcoming appearances at prestigious festivals in China, Japan, and the United States, the MSCO continues to strengthen its international reputation through innovative programming and cross-cultural collaborations, establishing itself as a benchmark of virtuosity and excellence in contemporary musical performance.
