Debut at Luzerner Sinfonieorchester on June 21st 2024

The 16-year-old violin virtuoso Pilar Policano makes his debut with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester this week!

Winner of the Grand Prix at the V. Yankelevitch International Violin Competition, first prize in the “Junior” category at the International Violin Competition in St. Petersburg, unanimous winner of the jury prize and first prize winner at “Nouvelles Etoiles Paris 2022”, Pilar is praised for her immense musicality, maturity and natural talent.

Pilar Policano will play the Mendelssohn Violin Concerto E minor, Op. 64, conducted by Maestro Francesco Cagnasso.

Certainly a concert highlight and the opportunity to accompany this rising star in the violin world at the very beginning of what is sure to be a stellar career.

For the second time and on the way to becoming a tradition, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra will be performing in the Kursaal in Engelberg this summer.
