EXCELLENTIA PROGRAM

________

SHLOMO MINTZ

The renowned Israeli violinist Shlomo Mintz  will offer two masterclasses on November 18 and 19 at the Higher Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands (CSMIB), as part of the Excellentia Program, an initiative of the Conservatory supported by the Regional Ministry of Education and Universities. This is his second visit to the program, following his highly successful first appearance last April.

The Excellentia Program, together with the Visiting Professors initiative, reflects the CSMIB’s commitment to academic excellence and international projection, bringing leading international artists into direct contact with the students.

Widely regarded as one of today’s foremost violinists, Mintz brings his refined technique, expressive depth, and broad artistic versatility to the Conservatory. His presence offers a unique educational opportunity for students, who can learn directly from a master with an outstanding international career, both as a performer and pedagogue.

Through the Excellentia and Visiting Professors programs, the CSMIB reinforces the quality of its educational project and continues to expand its reach, aiming to position itself as a leading institution for students from the Balearic Islands and across Spain pursuing higher musical studies.
