The Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra is pleased to announce the return of the internationally acclaimed violinist Shlomo Mintz, performing in Sofia upon invitation from the orchestra.
Recognized worldwide for his exceptional artistry and profound musical insight, Shlomo Mintz will perform Max Bruch’s Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26—a Romantic masterpiece beloved for its lyrical beauty, emotional depth, and virtuosic demands. This work continues to captivate audiences with its rich melodies and expressive power, making it a highlight of the violin repertoire.

Richard Wagner – “Liebestod” from Tristan und Isolde
Richard Strauss – Final Scene from the Opera “Salome”, featuring soprano Alexandrina Pendatchanska
The concert will be conducted by Carlo Tenan and held at the Bulgaria Concert Hall.
