On July 8, as part of the Festival ASISA de Villaviciosa de Odón, two of Spain’s most celebrated musicians — violinist Ana Mª Valderrama and guitarist Miguel Trápaga — will join forces for an extraordinary recital that spans centuries and continents.

The program offers a unique dialogue between violin and guitar, tracing a captivating musical journey from the elegance of Vivaldi’s “Winter to the vibrant rhythms of Piazzolla’s Buenos Aires. Along the way, audiences will experience the lyrical brilliance of Mauro Giuliani’s Gran dúo concertante, the folkloric energy of Bartók’s Romanian Dances, the evocative charm of Manuel de Falla’s Spanish Popular Suite, and the sensual nostalgia of Piazzolla’s Café 1930 and Bordel 1960.

This concert promises an intimate yet powerful exploration of style, tradition, and emotion — all through the extraordinary chemistry of two masters of their instruments.

A concert that highlights the expressive power of the violin-guitar duo, in the setting of Festival ASISA.
